Ideal nutrition for plants

Having the right CO2 concentration in the water is hugely important for aquarium plants. Carbon dioxide is the plants main nutrient and it fully promotes their growth. Plants use CO2 for photosynthesis and this supplies the water with essential oxygen. They remove pollutants, thus preventing algae growth, provide hiding places and reduce germs.

Easy to Install

Fill the bubble counter with water. Use the hose to attach the bubble counter to the pressure reducer or solenoid valver of the CO2 system and to the reactor in the aquarium (CO2 system and diffuser not included). Fix the bubble counter outside the aquarium with 2 suction cups onto the glass or with 2 screws onto the furniture.

Safe

The bubble counter has hose screw connections and is easy to fill and clean thanks to a threaded connection with an O-ring. The correct CO2 amount varies from aquarium to aquarium and depends on the volume, the water movement and the planting. To start, about 10 CO2 bubbles per minute are recommended. The CO2 content in the aquarium water can be checked with the help of a CO2 test (JBL Proaquatest CO2-pH Permanent).

The CO2 bubbles are easy to count.

A magnifying glass section in the transparent part makes it easier to count the bubbles for a precise dosing of the CO2 quantity.
